DAYS after police issued a warning to stay out of Cilyrychen Quarry in Llandybie, damage has been caused to the fence.
The damage took place sometime between 9am on July 31 and 3pm on August 3.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “An appeal to keep out of the quarry was issued by police earlier this week yet people are still trying to gain access.
“Quarries are dangerous places, filled with visible and hidden dangers and they are often in hard to reach areas.
“Cilyrychen Quarry at Llandybie is private property, and is off limits to the public. We and quarry management are conducting regular patrols of the site to keep the public safe.”
