Demon Slayer is one of the most-watched anime of our time. The dark fantasy series, which first premiered in 2019, never fails to impress viewers with the perfect blend of action, adventure, and an amazing story.
The anime recently returned with its third season and is once again being loved by the audiences. So far, only two episodes of the season have aired and fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the next installment. So when will Demon Slayer season 3, episode 3 come out? Read on to find out.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 3: Release Date and Time
The third episode of Demon Slayer season 3 will air in Japan on Sunday, April 23rd at 11:15 pm JST. The English subbed episode will be broadcast simultaneously on Crunchyroll for international viewers. The episode will be available on the streaming platform on April 23rd at 7:15 am PT / 9:15 am CT / 10:15 am ET.
The subtitles will also be available in a variety of other languages, including French, German, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Hindi, Portuguese, Arabic, and Castilian Spanish. The upcoming episode has been titled A Sword from Over 300 Years Ago. It will be around 45 minutes long.
Viewers in the US, Canada, Europe, and South America can watch the show on Crunchyroll with a subscription. The streaming platform can be subscribed to at $7.99 a month. There are also higher-end plans, giving additional benefits, which go up to $14.99 a month. The platform also offers a 14-day free trial for new viewers.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 3: What to Expect?
In the previous episode, Tanjiro witnessed Muichiro threatening a swordsmith but was knocked out when he tried to interfere. Meanwhile, Kotetsu explained the “man” is a mechanical training doll made by his ancestors, and asked Tanjiro to protect it.
After Muichiro appeared, Kotetsu told Tanjiro to train with the doll to become stronger. Tanjiro then gained a new ability while imagining himself in the afterlife, which made him strike the doll’s head, revealing a hidden sword inside.
The next episode will now follow up on the events of the revelation of the sword. Going by the manga series, Tanjiro and Kotetsu might be disappointed as the sword is will be rusted. They will then take the help of a swordsmith named Hotaru Haganezuka to make the sword usable again.
Demon Slayer Season 3: Number of Episodes
The third season of Demon Slayer is expected to feature 11 episodes. The is following the Swordsmith Village Arc, where ‘Tanjiro reunites with two Hashira, members of the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen – Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji. With the shadows of demons lurking near, a new battle begins for Tanjiro and his comrades.’
The English voice cast for the series includes Zach Aguilar as Tanjirō Kamado, Abby Trott as Nezuko Kamado, Bryce Papenbrook as Inosuke Hashibira, Aleks Le as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Greg Chun as Muzan Kibutsuji, Matthew Mercer as Kagaya Ubuyashiki, Kira Buckland as Mitsuri Kanroji, Griffin Burns as Muichiro Tokito, and Bridget Hoffman as Flower Hashira.
