These constant schedule changes were due primarily to WGA/SAG-AFTRA strikes which halted production on July 14 2023 but after their resolution production resumed and led to this summer release date being set.

“Deadpool 3” has officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, confirmed its presence, yet details regarding its integration remain ambiguous. Kevin may use elements from 20th Century Fox timelines with those seen in “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” similar to what has been done previously with Deadpool films and “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

In keeping with its predecessors, “Deadpool 3” will maintain an R rating, according to both Bob Iger, former CEO of Walt Disney Company and Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios. This ensures the film continues its signature mix of action and comedy that viewers have come to know from previous installments – this decision marking it as first MCU movie to receive such rating prior to being outed as being 17 or older before Blade’s film has come out.
