All of Us Are Dead, a South Korean drama series which has been popular to be one of the top streamed horror series on Netflix, has been set for a release of the season 2. It has been mentioned that the TV show ‘All of Us Are Dead’ has been popular for its zombie apocalypse story, which has made it as one of the best K-dramas. For the fans, the Korean horror drama series had started to stream on the American based OTT, the Netflix. As the name has stated, the show has been set to be a part of a fictional city located in South Korea, which has been named in the TV show as, Hyosan.
At a high school, which has been shown in the city of Hyosan, there have been various students inside the school, when there is a zombie apocalypse, as reported in the series pilot story. Following this, the students in the Hyosan’s high school are left with no safety as the zombie attacks have just started to break out in the city. It has been mentioned that the Korean TV horror streaming series on Netflix has been made to be based upon the webtoon, which has also been named as, “All of Us Are Dead” in South Korea. The digital webtoon which has provided the series for its ideas had been originally written by the author Joo Dong Geun.

The original story for the Korean horror show has been taken from the South Korean webtoon, illustrated by Joo Dong Geun, which had been titled as “All of Us Are Dead” between the years starting from 2009 and ending in 2011. For the most episodes of the show, the production had been done at the Sunghee Girls’ High School, which is located in the South Korean city of Andong.

All of Us Are Dead Season 2 Story & Other Updates
“All of Us Are Dead” had been one of the best successful projects for the productions and Talent Management Company of South Korea, the Film Monster by JTBC Studios. For the fans, they had first released the initial season for the TV show “All of Us Are Dead”, when the premiere had been made available on Netflix in 2022. After the trailer for the show had been announced, the viewers had started to glue in to see the zombie attacks being bombarded in a school of South Korea. With its pilot episode, the show had been completed with the episodes list for its release on 28th January 2022.
Following the release, the show “All of Us Are Dead” had become so popular that the first season had been watched on Netflix for a total of about 475 million hours. This feat had been noted for the show’s success after just about 30 days from its date of release on the platform. For this reason, the production company and the platform had agreed to renew the show for the upcoming “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2 on 06th June 2022, as it had been reported. The show had started off with the high school students who are suddenly in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, while they are in the school.

In the fictional town of Hyosan in South Korea, a high school in the city has been shown to be overrun with the breakout of a zombie apocalypse. This has also happened after a science experiment fails, and as a result, the local high school students have been trapped inside the school. They have been left inside with no food and water supplies, as they have to struggle to survive. As the communication has been completely damaged, they have to use the school equipment to stay in touch with each other and survive.
In the drama, the story has been shown to be led by Park Ji Hu, Yoon Chan, Lomon, Cho Yi Hyun, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo Mi, Lee Kyu hyung, Kim Byung Chul, Jeon Bae Soo, Lee Kyu Hyung, etc. As the roles played by these actors have been of the students who are trapped in the zombie attacks, while also handling the tension within the group at the same time. For the end of Season 1, the ending had shown the class president deciding to go out with other half zombies present like herself.
As per the reports, it had also been mentioned that the show had been a part of the “Top 10 Non-English Shows” on Netflix in more than 91 countries for about 2 weeks. In March 2023, it had also been stated that the season 2 filming had not started, as a result, it has been expected that the final Release of “All of Us Are Dead Season 2nd” is going to be in the year 2024.
