Millie Bobby Brown is engaged! The Stranger Things star has apparently said ‘yes’ to the proposal by her boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi. The 19 year old actor posted a picture on Instagram on Tuesday which showed off her diamond ring.
Brown and Bongiovi, the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, have been dating for almost three years. The two have frequently made appearances on each other’s social media and have shared several PDA-filled posts over the years.

Brown took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo which showed her being embraced by Bongiovi on a beach. The couple is all giggles in the picture, and a diamond engagement ring is seen on the left hand of the actress. She did not explicitly mention being engaged in her caption but wrote, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍.”
Bongiovi, 20, also shared two pictures with Brown: one at the same beach spot and the other on a boat. He captioned the post, “Forever 🤍.” The couple’s friends were quick to congratulate them on their special occasion.
Brown’s Stranger Things co-star and friend Noah Schnapp commented, “OH MY GOD CONGRATS,” and Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul wrote, “Yesssss!!! Congratulations you two!🖤” Jessica Wright also commented, “Ommmmggggg congratulations!!!!!!!!! @milliebobbybrown this is amazing. So so happy for you darling 🎊✨🤍.”
The Couple First Sparked Dating Rumors in June 2021
Brown and Bongiovi were first spotted together holding hands in New York City in 2021. The same month, the actress introduced Bongiovi as her ‘bff’ with a selfie on Instagram. The two finally confirmed their romance in November 2021 when Brown shared a photo which showed her kissing her boyfriend while riding the London Eye.
Bongiovi accompanied the actress to the premiere of the latest season of Stranger Things in May 2022. The two also attended the red carpet of the British Academy Film Awards together. At the beginning of 2023, Brown shared a series of photos from the previous year on social media and referred to Bongiovi as her ‘partner for life’.

Brown was Previously Linked to Jacob Sartorius and Romeo Beckham
Before finding love with Bongiovi, Brown dated YouTube star and musician Jacob Sartorius in 2018. She later sparked romance rumors with Romeo Beckham, the son of Victoria and David Beckham. Last year, TikTok star Hunter Ecimovic claimed that he dated and ‘groomed’ the actress when she was 16.
Brown’s reps then called out the TikToker and released a statement: “Mr. Ecimovic’s remarks on social media are not only dishonest, but also are irresponsible, offensive and hateful. Instead of engaging in a public discourse with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to ensure that he stops this behavior once and for all.”
