Riverdale Season 7 Episode 4: Preview, Release Date and Time

Riverdale became a phenomenon in itself when it first premiered on The CW in 2017. The supernatural crime drama is still going strong in its seventh and final season and is introducing new twists with every passing episode.

The show, based on the characters of the iconic Archie Comics, has taken a new turn in the final season by heading to the 1950s. If you are wondering when would the next episode of the season come out, continue reading.

Riverdale Season 7 Episode 4: Release Date and Time

The fourth episode of the final season of Riverdale will be aired on The CW on Wednesday, April 19th at 6 pm PT / 9 pm ET. The episode has been titled Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-One: Love & Marriage and will be around 40 minutes long. It is written by Chrissy Maroon and directed by Claudia Yarmy.

The episode will also be available to stream on The CW app. Riverdale season 7 will be featuring 20 episodes. The season premiered on March 29 and is expected to go on till August 23, 2023, when the series finale will be aired. In the previous seasons, the number of episodes fluctuated between 13 and 22.

Riverdale Season 7 Episode 4: Preview

The CW has released a small promo for the upcoming episode, which is sure to leave fans excited. The clip shows an unexpected romance between Cheryl Blossom and Archie Andrews. The synopsis for episode 4 reads, “After enlisting Archie’s help, Cheryl’s plan to fool her family spirals out of control; Jughead turns to Veronica for help after finding himself in some trouble; Betty gives Kevin an ultimatum.”

Riverdale Season 7: Plot and Cast

The final season stars KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, Madchen Amick as Alice, Vanessa Morgan as Toni Topaz, Charles Melton as Reggie Mantle, Drew Ray Tanner as Fangs Fogarty and Erinn Westbrook as Tabitha Tate.

“The seventh season of RIVERDALE goes where no season of RIVERDALE has dared to go before—the 1950s! Picking up where last season ended, Jughead Jones finds himself trapped in the 1950s. He has no idea how he got there, nor how to get back to the present. His friends are no help, as they are living seemingly authentic lives, similar to their classic Archie Comics counterparts, unaware that they’ve ever been anywhere but the 1950s,” reads the description for the final season.

“Archie Andrews is the classic all-American teen, coming of age, getting into trouble, and learning life lessons; Betty Cooper is the girl next door, starting to question everything about her perfect life—including her controlling mother Alice; Veronica Lodge is a Hollywood starlet who moved to Riverdale under mysterious circumstances; Cheryl Blossom is the Queen Bee with a withering wit and a secret longing; Kevin Keller is a square crooner wrestling with his sexual identity.”
