Alice in Borderland Season 3 Story

For the viewers who have been glued to the TV screens for watching the Japanese action based manga thriller series, Alice in Borderland, the main reason has been its compelling story. This series had been produced by basing its storyline upon a Japanese manga series. It must be noted that this Japanese manga is also known by the same name, Alice in Borderland. It had been released as a suspense manga series, which had been illustrated and written by the Japanese manga illustrator, Haro Aso.

In the manga series, the story focuses on a young man (Ryohei Arisu) who has troubles with his family relationships, and as a result, has not been able to connect with his family. Instead, he has been shown to spend more and more time with his friends, who are Daikichi Karube and Chota Segawa. Among the three, the readers found that most of the times Chota and Arube are not mature to take their lives seriously. As a result, they do not enjoy school, while the third friend Daikichi has been seen often urging them to get serious.

Alice in Borderland Season 3 Plot

As the second week of August 2023 gets over, more fans who have enjoyed the first two seasons of Alice in Borderland, have started to look for official information about the release of a new season. It has been expected that the fans are going to wait more, as the show has not been provided an official date for the release with another season. For the first two seasons of Alice in Borderland, the show’s direction had been completed by Shinsuke Sato.

In the story, Kento Yamazaki (playing Ryohei Arisu) forms a team with Tao Tsuchiya (playing Yuzuha Usagi), as they are trapped in a parallel Tokyo where they have to take part in dangerous and sadistic games to survive in the city. Ryohei has an obsession for the new and latest video games while Usagi is a mountain climber, before they meet in the Borderlands. In these games, the difficulty and type of games are shown using playing cards. The players need to extend their “visas”, expiration of which will result in the player’s execution within the city.

Alice in Borderland Season 3 Cast & Other Updates

For both the seasons, the science fiction Netflix series ‘Alice in Borderland’ had come out with a total of 8 episodes in total, as most of the Netflix shows. For the second season of the show, Alice in Borderland had fared well for the general Netflix audience on the platform. This had led to the show to be one of the Top Global Non-English TV Series which had been streamed on the platform. To add to this, this feat had come after the Alice in Borderland Season 2 had been available for about four weeks.

In the cast list of Alice in Borderland, the first two seasons have shown:  Kento Yamazaki playing Ryohei Arisu, Tao Tsuchiya playing Yuzuha Usagi, Ayaka Miyoshi playing Ann Rizuna, Nijiro Murakami playing Shuntaro Chishiya, Dori Sakirda playing Suguru Niragi and Aya Asahina playing Hikari Kuina. As per the reports, Netflix has not mentioned the show’s name in the ‘soon-to-be-released’ which are coming this month. This has also been because the second season for Alice in Borderland had wrapped up the plot, and had ended similarly as the story in the original suspense manga by Haro Aso.

  • It follows the plot of the manga which has been fully completed and published ending at the same point as the end of season 2. This means it is close to impossible for a season 3 because it wouldn’t make sense.
